We left the Castle and half kilometre down to grab on the left a path of steady climb up to the Covalta, a small first col where we can see the territory through which runs the race. We’re going down to the right and we can see the remains of trenches. Again an intense climb for a kilometer and a half to reach the first food station (km 5 Roianos). We go up and we circled the term of Pinell de Brai with technical parts and went down by parts of deep forest with masterpieces of dry-stone walls following the paths until you reach the second food station (km 7 Mas de Platilles). We take the old road from Miravet to Benifallet, a trail corridor in the middle of the riverside forest full of ups and downs, with views of the river until we found the third food station (km 10 Pas de Barrufemes). From the lowest point on the banks of the River, we follow the trial that will take us to the highest point, the Watchtower, where we will run almost 1 km along a very technical path and we find the fourth food station (km 14 la Talaia). A 250 m down will take you to the Mas de Pirri where you’ll see the village on the banks of the river. We’ll find the fifth food station and the end of a ravine (km 17 Negrer) and take the last climb towards Covalta, for going down along the trenches of the civil war and in with the last steps we will be at the old village where you will feel the excitement of the arrival.
